Congratulations to those who were playing in their first ever tournament. The opposition were strong this time around but the girls pulled off two great results.

The boys under 10s then followed as follows:

Brentwood HC vs Colchester HC - 1 - 4 loss
Brentwood HC vs Saffron Walden HC - 0 - 1 loss
Brentwood HC vs Bishops Stortford HC - 0 - 1 win

Despite losing the first two games, the boys stepped up their efforts in the last match and came away winners.

The under 12 girls played a lot of short games.

3 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses

Again the opposition were stronger than most teams the girls had played against. The girls certainly found their rhythm by the last game when the passing was flowing and the goals soon followed.

Finally the under 12 boys had a tough time of it.

Once again our Brentwood players stuck to their task and were rewarded in the last game where they were runaway winners.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the organisation, team managing, umpiring and teas/coffees on the day. Without this help we could not have run the tournament. More volunteers needed in future!
